150+ Years of Ayurvedic Heritage

C.N.S. Wellness Herbaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. is a physician-led Ayurvedic wellness company rooted in a distinguished healing tradition that began with Vaidya Sri Chatharu Nair (1874–1967) in Mezhathur, Kerala.

In 1893, Vaidya Chatharu Nair began his Ayurvedic healing practice from his ancestral home, earning deep trust for his compassionate care and disciplined approach to classical Ayurveda. In 1951, Vaidya Mariparambil Gangadharan Nair entered the traditional Gurukula system under him, continuing the revered Guru–Shishya parampara.

Following his guru’s passing in 1967, Vaidya Gangadharan Nair carried the tradition forward and established CNS Chikitsalayam, continuing the legacy of authentic Ayurvedic healing and medicine preparation.

In 2021, Dr. Aswin Dev Nair and Dr. Arunima M founded CNS Wellness to responsibly adapt this trusted Ayurvedic heritage for modern wellness needs.

1874

Birth of Vaidya Sri Chatharu Nair

The beginning of a distinguished Ayurvedic lineage rooted in Mezhathur, Kerala.

1893

Beginning of Ayurvedic Practice

At the age of 19, Vaidya Sri Chatharu Nair began his Ayurvedic healing practice from “Chatharu Padi,” dedicating his life to classical Ayurvedic care and medicine preparation.

1951

Guru–Shishya Tradition Continues

At the age of 14, Vaidya Mariparambil Gangadharan Nair began studying Ayurveda directly under Vaidya Chatharu Nair through the traditional Gurukula system.

1967

Carrying Forward the Heritage

Following the passing of his guru, Vaidya Gangadharan Nair continued the lineage independently, preserving the authenticity of classical Ayurvedic practice and formulation preparation.

1987

Establishment of CNS Chikitsalayam

CNS Chikitsalayam was established in memory of Vaidya Sri Chatharu Nair to continue the tradition of authentic Ayurvedic healing and formulation development.

1995

GMP-Certified Manufacturing

The manufacturing division adopted GMP-certified standards, reinforcing the commitment to quality, safety, and standardized Ayurvedic medicine production.

2021

Founding of CNS Wellness

Dr. Aswin Dev Nair and Dr. Arunima M founded CNS Wellness under the guidance of Vaidya Gangadharan Nair to bring trusted Ayurvedic formulations to contemporary wellness consumers.
